After going through my own journey of healing and renewal I have dedicated my self to helping others heal as they move through their own grief and life altering transitions. That grief is the result of the death of a spouse, family member, co-worker, working through a serious or terminal illness, caring for ill or elderly parents and relatives, the pain of divorce, pet loss and other losses.
An area of particular focus in my coaching practice is providing Grief In the Workplace training, guidance, and coaching/consulting to managers, teams, and individuals to help the manager, grieving employee and team maintain productivity while balancing the needs of all with compassion and understanding on their grief journey.
I bring a wealth of knowledge from my 20 plus years of corporate life along with more than 24 years facilitating grief recovery support groups, serving both as a facilitator as well as a trainer instruction peers working through their own grief process how to help others move through grief to healing. I have worked with individuals who are in the process of recovering from grief, working extensively with separated, divorced and widowed adults (The Beginning Experience); and children who have lost a parent, relative or close friend to death or divorce (Rainbows For All God’s Children); including training for a special Rainbows program to work with the children of 9/11 victims.
I hold numerous certifications in the grieving process, training in guiding others through the needs of managers and individuals in the area of death and dying and consider ongoing education a large of of addressing this sensitive area in the workplace. I am a certified facilitator (Newark, NJ Diocese) to create and run grief support groups. Additionally, I have been trained by Hospice to work with terminally ill patients, served as a facilitator for the support group Rachel’s Vineyard and ministered to men and women who have experienced an abortion and the resulting pain of that decision.
