New Book by Local Grief Coach Helps Recently Widowed After Their Loss

Linda Trignano of Montville, NJ announces the release of her new book The Road Ahead. The book speaks to those who have recently lost a spouse or life partner. It provides insight in dealing with the everyday necessities of life and helps the bereaved to recover and regain their footing.

Trignano’s book examines the road one walks on after the loss of a spouse or partner.  To many, this is a lonely and often, seemingly impossible journey. While there are many books filled with information describing grief and how to manage it, there is little written about what to expect and how to make it through the everyday challenges after loss.  Milestones such as entering and being home alone for the first time, eating alone or managing finances and even managing household chores are discussed and helpful suggestions for surmounting these challenges are offered.

Trignano states, “As far as I have uncovered, this book is one of the few that offers basic advice to those who need guidance at a time when their vulnerability is extremely high.”  While there is a small section in the book that touches on the emotions of grief, the major focus of the book is to provide basic information on how to begin again and embrace life again.

“I read the book from cover to cover and I believe it is going to help a lot of people that really need the guidance it provides.”                                                                                                                      Jennifer B, Boston, Mass

There are many bereaved people who are on their own for the first time after the death of their spouse or life partner.  As a grief coach, Trignano having worked with the bereaved for over 25 years came to realize that essential to helping them recover from their loss, is guiding them in how to deal with the everyday necessities of life.  In her book, “The Road Ahead”, she combines her understanding of loss and the need to move beyond the pain to create a unique roadmap for her readers.

The author is available to speak at community and civic organization meetings.  She can be contacted via her website at www.griefcoaching.com or by phone: 973-722-9961.

The book can be purchased at www.amazon.com  as well as www.griefcoaching.com
