For more than 24 years, Linda has worked facilitating grief recovery support groups, training grief facilitators, as well as working with individuals who are in the process of recovering from grief and loss. She worked with individuals experiencing a divorce or death (The Beginning Experience), children who have lost a parent, relative or close friend to death or divorce (Rainbows For All God’s Children) as well as training for a unique Rainbows program to work with the children of 9/11 victims. Linda is a certified facilitator through the Newark, NJ Diocese to create and run grief support groups and has been trained by Hospice to work with terminally ill patients. She served as a facilitator for the support group Rachel’s Vineyard and ministered to men and women who have experienced an abortion and the resulting pain of that decision.
Tom is an ordained minister who has worked as a facilitator with the Beginning Experience, an international grief support group for eight years helping participants, widowed, separated and divorced, work through their sorrow and pain. He is a certified traumatic grief counselor through the Miss Foundation, working with parents whose child has died. Tom is also a hospice volunteer helping the dying experience the joy of living during their final days. He has been both a counselor to individuals and a facilitator in groups of people whose lives have been altered by the loss of a loved one.
As a certified ICF business (International Coach Federation) and grief support coach, Charlotte has been active in facilitating grief programs for the past two decades. For several years she helped individuals who suffered the loss of a spouse during weekend retreats through an international program called Beginning Experience. She is also certified in traumatic grief through the MISS Foundation where she completed the “Compassionate Bereavement Care Certification” program. As a corporate business coach, she helped hundreds of individuals to move forward through any challenges they were facing.
Anthony has worked for 5 years as a facilitator with the Beginning Experience, an international grief support group helping participants widowed, separated and divorced, work through their sorrow and pain. He joined the group following the loss of his wife of 37 years to lung cancer as a way to help others on their grief journey.
1 Day Workshop
Not sure this workshop is for you?
Here are a few of the most common questions that potential participants ask to determine if this is right for them. If you do not see your question answered here, please send an email and we will be happy to provided you with additional information.
If you are at least 6 months past the date of your loss and feel comfortable being with others who have also had a loss, than you may be ready for attending a day workshop about grief. Before attending the workshop, you will speak with one of our facilitators who will ask you a few questions to help you decide if you are indeed ready to take a step forward on your grief journey.
Sharing your thoughts and feelings surrounding your loss is not required. You may gain a tremendous amount of insight just from hearing and experiencing the day’s planned activities. Only when you are comfortable and ready will you share. The time and amount is completely up to you.
Both men and women experience grief so having the perspective of others is of great value
